How it Works
Your wedding cake is designed from scratch so that you can have something that reflects your style brilliantly and suits your wedding reception perfectly. Your wedding cake is different and we are passionate about the flavours and ingredients that goes into it. We strive to push boundaries and offer exciting flavour combinations that get your guests talking.
As soon as you have a wedding date it’s a good idea to get in touch with us to check availability.
We take a limited number of wedding cake orders a week so we can give your cake the attention it needs in order to create a memorable design that you would love.
CONSULTATIONS
Consultations are by appointment only and are held at our Studio or a hotel location. You will be able to view some of our designs before we sit down and have a chat about your cake. We will work through design, colours, delivery and flavours and you will have the chance to sample some delicious cakes. We provide 4 of our most popular cake flavours for you to sample . This will be charged at £50 which will be deducted from the overall price (for bookings over £600) if you decided to book your wedding cake with us. Please note this is for 2 people only.
We understand that some of our clients live far or are unable to make a consultation session. We also have taster boxes we can send out to you, these are a selection of our popular flavours and can be ordered at our shop. This will be deducted from the overall price of your wedding cake should you choose to use our services (please note that the price of one taster box will be deducted should you desire to order multipule boxes). DEPOSITS AND BALANCES
If you would like to book us to make your wedding cake a £200 deposit is required to secure your date. This is non refundable or transferable. The balance of your order will be required one month before your wedding. For other cakes payment will be required in full (unless otherwise agreed).
PRICES
Our cakes are bespoke and tailor made therefore the price will depend on many factors including size, design complexity, amount of sugar flowers etc. Please get in touch for a quote.
COLLECTION
Cakes that are collected from our studio are always boxed for transportation. We provide full instruction on the care and handling of your cake. We would always recommend picking up your cake in a vehicle as tiered cakes can be very heavy. We do not take any responsibility for any damage that may occur to the cake once it has left our studio.
DELIVERY
We will deliver and set up your cake on the morning of your wedding at a time agreed upon. Set up and delivery are charged from £40. An extra charge of £1.50 per mile may apply depending on location. Please get in touch for a quote.
It is sometimes possible to deliver slightly further afield but would be subject to an additional delivery charge and a minimum cake order of £1000.00. Please contact us for further details.
It is the clients responsibility to arrange parking and check with their venue for any restrictions which may apply to the delivery and/or setup of their cake.
If there are congestion or parking charges, these will be added to your invoice. It is the Client's responsibility to liaise with the venue and decorator/florist for the decorating of the cake table unless this service was agreed at the time of booking.
Our service does not include cutting and serving of the cake to Client's guests. Clients are to liaise with the venue/caterers regarding this.
We will not take responsibility for damage to cake once it has left our possession. In addition we always take photographs of the cakes prior to delivery / collection and after setting up at your venue.
"We had a consultation and I had shown the designer a few ideas I had seen prior to the consultation and she just instantly understood exactly what I wanted. But everything doesn't become real as it's images/drawings on the page... until I FINALLY see it half way through my wedding when I walk into the reception hall and just... marvel at the intricate detail and ombre colours of the floating petals and pearls flowing down the tiered cake. It was more than what I had imagined it was beautiful....and of course delicious!"
